Display schedule of Patrouille Suisse Training Course - August 2020
Finally, with nearly every Airshow cancelled due COVID19 the Patrouille Suisse expects to train the following dates. And yes, I'm not really shure how Axalp Shuttle Service will be organised - so be aware that this year can be very complicated.

Payerne closed for runway works, like every summer. June 2nd 'till July 3rd, 2020
Like every year the military airfields in switzerland closes down for some weeks for maintenance works on runway and installations.
The main base Payerne will be closed from June 2nd 'till July 3rd, 2020.
QRA/Air Defence (LPD24) from 0600-2200h LT will be executed out of Meiringen during this time, together with nearly all flights with F-18 Hornet.

Air to Ground Shooting Range Axalp (-Ebenfluh) - Power Demonstration 2018 - last time with our grey Tigers
Every year in October, the Swiss Air Force invites the world to the Power Demo showed up there. No more rockets and bombs since the end of Vampire and Hunter, but still impressive.
Unfortunally it was the last year with the grey Tiger F-5's - the're only used for the agressor role and Patrouille Suisse in the future, but not needed to shoot there bullets anymore.

Swiss Hornet Display Team training week schedule 2019
Weekend approaches and with it the begin of this seasons training week of our Swiss Hornet Display pilot Nicolas 'VINCENT' Rossier in his 3rd year.
Training in mid altitude will begin Monday, from Wednesday on low altitude training already:
Lundi les entraînements sont prévus à 10:00 et 14:45 au-dessus de la base de Payerne: entraînements des figures individuelles à moyenne altitude. Mardi probablement basse altitude à 10:00 et 15:00.
Hornet Display training this week (25-29.03.2019) over Payerne airbase will be : Tuesday 10h00 & 15h00 medium altitude Wednesday 10h00 & 15h00 low altitude Thursday 09h45 & 15h00 low altitude Friday 08h40 medium & 10h20 low altitude See you there

Patrouille Suisse and Hornet DisplayTraining 2018
Patrouille Suisse and Hornet Solo Display are ready for theyre training weeks - see them on the following hours (for the Hornet Display Training please scroll down for the latest info):

On monday were both new routines (Full Show and Flat Show). Looks nice 😁
This morning the routine has been trained at high altitude, but the weather was too bad in the afternoon and the afternoon high altitude training has been cancelled.
So the whole training course programm take place 1/2 day later.
Tomorrow Wednesday :
Morning High altitude training in the Jura above FL100
Afternoon 13h45-14h15 medium altitude training above Payerne Airbase.
Low altitude training will start Thursday afternoon 13h45 over Payerne Airbase

Swiss Hornet Display Team published the training course schedule today - VINCENT will rock you !

Spring is coming, and so the SWISS HORNET DISPLAY TEAM will soon start training for the coming season.

(due major update of this posting from mid-december 2017 I've putted in again on top position)
WEF (World Economic Forum) is approaching fast and with it the maybe last WEF-CAP out of Meiringen - in the future those CAP's are discussed out of Payerne only.
Other important changes:
- Repetition courses without Tiger F-5 activity in 2018 ! (Tiger can be seen only during independent trainings of the pilots, no more squadron activities)
- the summer deployment of the Figthersquadron 11 Hornets in Emmen is in July and not in August 2018 - please review your holiday planning !
